One has to get into the "Red Centre" to get to such places as Alice Springs and Uluru, so these pix are a selection of scenes 'on the way' to these places.

A five day cruise up & down The Murray River from Manum to Morgan and back is truly an experience to be enjoyed (aboard the Murray Princess).
Whether it's sunny or cloudy, there is plenty to see and enjoy at leisure, and one is thoroughly spoiled by the friendly crew on board.

Different views of Uluru, a.k.a. Ayer's Rock.
Most of the pictures don't have "titles" - they are all the same rock.
The top of the rock is 854 metres above the plain.
The Indigenous folk would prefer that people do not climb
the Rock, but they will not stop anyone doing so.
If you are the type that would not abseil up/down the altar
of St Paul's Cathedral, then you would most likely
not climb The Rock.

Thes pictures were taken in a small corner of British Columbia, Canada - but what a scenic corner!
Half the trip was a ride in the Rocky Mountaineer train from Vancouver to Banff, returning by coach through some most spectacular scenery. The othe half of the trip was by boat M.S. Maasdam to Alaska via the Inside Passage. (These have still to be added.)
